California is now the 4th largest economy in the world

Theyd probably do better if it wasn't for free loading red states
Your contention is that a State like Wyoming is "freeloading" from California because California, with a population of 40 million people, pays more federal taxes than the 600,000 people who live in Wyoming?

Got it.

it's not just Wyoming. I believe every red state not named Texas gives less money to the federal government than they take in. The majority do at least.

What if I told you that states don’t “give money” to the federal government in the form of taxes.

Individuals and businesses do. That the internal revenue.

The idea that, a state is freeloading off thr liberal blue state is just stupid.

The states are receiving the federal money though. So the citizens who benefit from tax dollars, are giving less than they're receiving.

Sure. A citizen might be paying less than they’re receiving. But not the state itself. Lol.

I’m certainly paying for more than I use.

EVery tax payer needs a report card every year about what services and costs they took out versus what they put in.

Makes people realize how grateful they should be.

You probably use way more than you realize. But that's a different discussion.

The good news is they just asked for 3.4 billion to cover healthcare for illegals. They also have lost over a million people to other states since 2021. Due to bad politics, taxes, crazy living expenses, crime and the homeless issue.

It is so bad the exodus even has its own wiki page.

🤦‍♂️
Throw in the fact CA is losing movie filming industry. GA is now number 1 in movie filming. They want to give tax incentives to bring that back but they are already running a $65 billion deficit.

I have never even heard a liberal Californian on camera happy about how the state is run. The place is a total trainwreck/liberal utopia. I love when they proposed taxing people who have left the state within the last ten years on their current income. Never passed, but you have to give them credit for the balls to suggest it.

Then you also have this on the horizon for California taxpayers to look forward to.

I saw the 12 million number. Isnt that like budgeting 50 dollars a person eligible. They are asking for 3.4 billion for illegal’s healthcare and only 12 million for reparations. That seems unfair.

They also blew $25 Billion on "the homeless problem" and other countless billions on the bottomless pit known as the high speed railway system.

The movie industry as a whole has been moving to Canada and Europe the last few yrs. Unions don’t have the controls there like they do in the states, so producers have more flexibility and money. Industry has been down in this state because of a few factors, but one of the biggest was that the teamsters went to hard with their latest deal, and has turned off a lot of work that would have otherwise come to this state, so yeah kind of sucks right now. Know a lot of people who have had to leave and get real 9-5’s.

Impressive. And they're broke, they often have brown outs, they run out water at the worst times, ppl are leaving, and homeless litter the streets and sidewalks of their biggest cities.

Mazel tov!
California has everything going for it. Absolutely beautiful place with incredible weather. And somehow they are effing it up.

The most under-reported and represented people on Earth are Californians who aren’t liberal. There are a whole shit ton of them, and they are so pissed especially since Covid that they have shifted further right than a lot of stereotypical Texan / Southeast conservatives.

If you know and are related to folks in this category, you know.

We should be taxing anyone associated with Hollywood 8000% for even glancing in Georgia's direction. Get them out of this state.
