last night with a good shooting game from JJ. This is not a critizism of JJ because I am thankful for the many great games he has given.
With a good game from JJ -
- his outside shooting would have given Yante more room and he might have gotten 40+
- with him not shooting, new guys had to take control (for the first time)
- we wouldn't have been so tentative moving the ball trying to find a way to score
- fewer turnovers
- would had more room to penetrate against their foul plagued bigs.
- we would have played faster with his quick three's
Having said this, I think we will respond much better when JJ is off. Turtle stepped up at the end. Guys will be more ready.
