I know Clempson is #1, but would y'all want Dabo as a head coach? As soon as he gets within microphone or camera range, Dabo goes into clown mode.

I never thought Clempson would hire a coach who would make Danny Ford seem statesmanlike, but they did. They sure love their Bama coaches---Howard, Ingram, Pell, Ford, Swinney.

Along those same lines, would we want Les Miles? He has championships but would he be considered an upgrade to Richt? Just curious after watching that game last night. Besides our special teams gifts, LSU didn't seem to far much better against Bama.

No. Miles' offenses are ground-bound and LSU rarely has a good QB.

Well Dabo has surely done more with less that any coach in Athens since Dooley on the field. And he likely has principals as good as any coach including Dooley. In fact there is no record of him having instigated his squad's more crass behavior such as the dangerous charging of the end zone in mass which came very close to a riot of monstrous proportions in Jacksonville. He stands up for his players, is a hard worker and he wins, without the same volume of bad behavior off the field by his athletes. Clown acts come in all types. Like Dabo dancing in the locker room with his winning players. You think that is a clown show but his players and the students there love him. CDS' enthusiasm runneth over. But his judgement is such that other acts of clownish behavior have not even been hinted at under his leadership.

StoneCold is probably right about Bama calling him up. Still he has only won once ACC Championship. It's hard to believe this is the team we POUNDED last year in Athens. I like Dabo and I grew up in Greenville so I tend to pull for Clemson when they aren't playing Georgia, but I"m not completely sold on him. I think if he played in the SEC they would have one or 2 losses. I don't see this team winning the national championship.

Dabo can flat out recruit. He would be a star at UGA. Not sure he would leave Clem for UGA, though.

Clemson is the better job....he makes more and he does recruit well in Georgia....he has an easier road at Clemson to championships...only job that's a step up would be Bama....

Clemson is not a better job than UGA. UGA is clearly the better job. Clemson is the easier job in a garbage conference.
