I've got a buddy who won't mix meats. So no burgers with pulled pork BBQ on top, or no egg on the burger. I make my spaghetti sauce with beef and hot Italian sausages.
I'm not a fan of mashed potatoes, but like to mix corn or English peas in there, black eyed peas if we have them.
Heck, my Thanksgiving plate had so many casseroles and turkey, dressing, etc, that my plate was one heaping mix of it all (and I ate every bite and am still full!).
Basically, I'll mix anything I like, and mix good things with those I don't like as much, just to get it down.
Are there any of y'all that always keeps the food separate? No mixing? I've heard of it, but figured you'd have to be a Yankee or California food snob, or have a form of OCD. I'd love to hear your story.
