Many still feel HW was a superior back and Chubb is good but not great. I disagree while watching Chubb head towards a 2000 yard season or 2500 if UGA makes the playoffs. Chubb will pass all of HW records mid season next year in 150 fewer carries(let that sink in).These are the numbers based on both first 275 carries.HW 275/1621/5.89/15td. Chubb 275/2015/7.32/20td. Chubb is about 25 % better. Now the chase for 2000 ,Chubb is at 468 in 3 games. I think he hits 2000 before the SEC championship game. Here are game to game projections,most are lower totals than last year.southern 120,Bama110,Tenn 180,Mizz140,Florida 150,Kentucky 180,Aub 220,Ga Southern 180,Gt 200 that would be 1948 before SEC championship ,bowl or playoff.without major injury Chubb will break every SEC rushing record before he leaves. He passes HW by game 7 year three. They are both fantastic backs. We are seeing greatness again.more food for thought. Chubb will do more this season than gurley did in two.
