Clear difference in rain coaching philosophy between Kiff and Kirby

Kiffin said it well before the game. Rain favors the offense because they know where they are going and the defense has to react. He called his game accordingly., aggressive.

Kirby/Bobo played the game exactly as I suspected they would. Conservative. It might as well have been a monsoon for 60 minutes when we had the ball.

Guys this is not a talent issue. We still have a lot of talent on this team. We have a scheme/philosophy issue on both sides of the ball. We complain about our OL, and they played terrible, but if we aren’t blocking the edge well, why not roll out and double the end. We complain about our run blocking, why aren’t we running more counters to move the LBs out of position. We complain about receivers not getting separation, then why aren’t we running crossers creating separation. It’s lazy to just blame the players. Great coaches put players in position to succeed. We have failed at that all year.
