.... in the next 3, possibly 4 years. By any reasonable estimate he(we) has(have) enough pieces to make a serious run at a playoff spot in 2015 then an embarrassment of recruiting riches either on campus or possibly headed this way for an additional multi-year run at excellence on the big stage of championship achievement.... or just the opposite.

Would multiple playoff appearances be enough to rank Coach as a great HC for UGA? Would 1 NC in 4 years be enough? Can he hold it together enough to over prepare for every opponent, even the supposedly underdog gators and vols, as elite coaches do?

With all that being nothing more than so much background fodder if bad things happen, the key to it all is the 2015 version of Richt's regime. It absolutely has to perform well this season and leave no doubt the brain trust for brilliance is in place in year 15 as elite recruits make last minute decisions. If this year's team leaves little doubt it is playing at an elite level the stage is set for a brilliant 2016 recruiting class with 2017 already looking good as well. If we somehow fall on our face in the heat of SEC battle..... well, you tell me.

With all apologies to a former UGA coach... Coach has waited 15 years for this. Can he make the big step to fulfill his legacy? In other words, is he now prepared to combine the "Georgia way" with elite results? Is he willing to do what it takes to do that?
