I normally don’t comment on coaching decisions because I know first hand how tough those are to make. HOWEVER, bringing the infield in during the 4th inning was a very bad move. It was a sign of desperation and sent the wrong message, IMO. We give up a big inning there and could’ve gotten out of it without giving up a run or at worst one run. You don’t bring the infield in that early in a ballgame. You play for outs! Very simple baseball 101. I’ll just continue to scratch my head over that decision.
