I currently work for one of the top insurance carriers in my specialized industry.
I recently received an offer from a smaller competitor. The offer would be life changing financially for my growing family and I.
I’m grateful for the offer however it seems to stress me out and give me anxiety more than anything. I like my current employer. I enjoy working for my boss. Benefits are awesome. I woke a hybrid schedule but when I commute it’s a long drive. It would probably take me close to 5 years to get to the number I’m being offered.
Other employer would allow me to work from home outside of meeting with clients 2-3 week. The work load will probably be slightly more however I think I’ll be able to manage it comfortably. My “region” would extend further out so I’d travel slightly more.
Any advice would be appreciated. As I said I’m thankful to be in the position I’m in - I just struggle with making life changing moves.
