I felt like Hutson Mason was nothing more than a game manager. He didn't make many mistakes, but he also didn't make hardly any impressive throws. He doubted his ability more than Bobo did. However, thanks to having good players surrounding him, he turned out to be a serviceable QB for us. Is Lambert filling a similar type role for us or is he more talented? Are we taking a step back or forward from last year's QB play?
