I'm no talent evaluator but it wasn't close to me. Vrankovic showed nice hands and some polished post moves but in all of the highlights I watched there was not one dunk or even the appearance of a strong finish around the basket. Didn't show much athleticism at all.
Interesting to me that Duke has been kicking the tires on Vrankovic.
Edwards' athleticism jumps out although he doesn't appear quite as polished. IMO that will come with coaching and development. He has the athleticism that you can't teach which should help him on the defensive end.
If somehow we can luck into a post transfer to start along Yante then Edwards and DO off the bench gives us some real depth up front.
I don't see any way we are going to be as polished offensively as we were with Marcus and Nemi but we are going to be much longer around the basket. Should really help us on the defensive end and we were a good defensive team last year.
