Guys, I don’t mean this to sound snarky. I really don’t. And it stinks to lose.
But, boys…this is just what happens when you compete. You don’t win them all. You do what you can to compete and cover up your warts. And when it’s over, you get back to the drawing board. You don’t win them all.
We’ve played just about every game the last 8 years in playoff contention. That won’t change. We won’t win the next 8 in a row, but we’ll get a few.
Freeman is a really good coach. So is Sark. Day is a good coach. Those teams aren’t going anywhere. And neither are we.
To think that Kirby Paul Smart doesn’t know about or see the holes we see is laughable. And he’ll fix them because nobody wants to win as much as him — I promise.
