Watched the game on Wednesday and thought it was a good win. I wish we could continue to keep the foot down and blow out a team. The closest thing I remember was the Clemson game last year. Here are my thoughts:
- Do we play down to our opponent level? Starting to get that feeling.
- I hope we start to run our secondary break with a man closer to the basket to get a rebound when we settle for the outside shot.
- Can we run a secondary break where we don't settle for an outside shot?
- Can we run counter motion or a fake screen and slip to our backcourt screening by our big men? Every team is over playing our screens by our big men. I am worried that we don't adjust.
- I do think that J. Parker will get better as the season goes on.
- Still don't understand why Crump isn't playing.
- Who told Kenny Paul Geno he is a good outside shooter? He isn't.
- Can we get Mike Edwards to not leave his feet and fall for every 1st shot fake on a drop step.
- I think Derek O should just dunk every put back and stop missing easy layups.
- I think our wins are connected to how many times in the game we end up running the shot clock under 5 seconds and JJ is stuck with the ball at the top of the key trying rub off a poorly executed screen that is being overplayed. We only had one or two against LL.
- Why do our off side wings just stand and not move at all when the ball is on the other side. Doesn't that make it a 5 on 4 defensively on the ball side? Makes me shake my head.
