On June 30th, contact tracing was giving a small view of coronavirus clusters. Construction and nursing homes causing problems more than a thousand cases traced to each category, but bars and restaurants reported just 22 cases.

I live no where near Nashville Tenn & this pisses me off something terrible.

This comes on the heels of the LA health director caught on a hot mike saying they would keep schools closed until the election. This is no longer about public safety, pure politics.

I have a feeling we’re going to see more of this exposed across the nation as lawsuits & FOIA requests come in.

No - they were purposely hiding facts for fear of private business-owners rightly raising holy hell that their policies were rooted in anything but public safety. And as far as "spinning" things, this country should always err on the side of freedom.

Well its been going on from a lot of folks this whole time. Governors made bad decisions that cost people their lives while ignoring federal direction.

Local officials have used this excuse to promote personal agendas. University presidents have used this excuse to promote personal agendas. The Big 10 Conference used this excuse to promote a personal agenda. The Director of the CDC just outed himself and his agenda by misrepresenting the facts he was given.

Somewhere in the bowels of the CDC, some scientist decided to redefine the word "case" and for the first time, we are calling something a "Covid 19 Case" that never qualified as a case before, to make things look worse than they are.

Somebody decided to set thresholds for testing that never indicated a positive before, but now traces of test elements will get you a "Covid19 Positive" result that in many "cases" never results in illness or transmission.

There are people who fully intended to use this pandemic for their own purposes. They intended to ride it through the election to create unhappy people, because unhappy people don't vote for incumbents.
