Said Shepherd will start at SS and Schunk at 3B, Maxwell in CF, Bradley in RF (alternating with Campbell) and Biggar will alternate at C with Curry. Batting order will have leadoff of Maxwell and 9 hole will be Bradley. Also mentioned Riley King as good hitting utility infielder who will contribute. Also Logan Moody in RF after recovering from surgery.
2B will be Talley backed by Proctor (great feet and arm), 1B will alternate Sasser (currently hurt shoulder) and Sullivan, both great feet and fielders and put on weight, 3B backup will be Webb, McGovern in LF one of best fielding LF in Ga history, Maxwell in CF is possibly better instinctive fielder than Wrenn with angles to ball.
Haven't listened to interview regarding pitchers yet, although CSS did say that Bradley would be a relief pitcher as well as RF/Designated hitter.
Interesting that out of 35 roster players, only 27 can receive partial amounts of 11.7 scholarships. That means 8 of our roster players are receiving no financial aid, other than HOPE maybe? So those 8 are the equivalent of Preferred Walk-ons.
