I don't think Haden handled this matter appropriately. Back on August 22, Sarkisian went on the drunken rant at the Salute to Troy big-money donor event. If one of your subordinates is drunk on company property, during company time, wearing company logoed clothing, and at a public event in front of the media, you do not simply reprimand the subordinate and send him back to work. You suspend him and send him to your EAP for evaluation and formulation of a treatment plan.

He was still drunk yesterday, that's when Haden told him he needed time off. I'm betting he's either in rehab or on his way there right now.
