I went and visited with Duluth offensive tackle Damola Ajidahun, who was on his official visit last week and then returned Tuesday when he his team was attended the Kirby Smart 7-on-7 camp. Ajidahun has a great relationship with Kirby Smart and Stacy Searels. At 6-foot-6, 300-pounds, they want to keep him as a tackle at the next level. Ajidahun was hosted by freshmen Michael Uini and Daniel Calhoun on his visit. Those two were early enrollees this past spring, and were honest about how hard the transition was, but Ajidahun was appreciative with their honesty. He said he “likes a challenge” and knows Georgia would give him one. Ajidahun was born in England but his family is from Nigeria. He connected well with assistant offensive line coach Edmund Kugbila and outside linebackers coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe, who are both Nigerian as well. Education is also important to his family, and he wants to study business administration, so it helps having Terry College as one of the top business schools in the country. There’s no commitment date set, but Ajidahun is done with his official visits. UGA is one of his top contenders.
