What would be your best forecast for Parker's future? Not looking for a dodge; I get the uncertaintly. If you end up being wrong, believe me, I will not blame you.

If JP gets a medical redshirt this season, he could still have 2 years to play. Honestly, if he came back healthy next year, I think I'd take that--we might need him to start at the 3 next year barring a transfer--has always rebounded and defended well for his size and Geno is a small role player at best...Parker is glue. Let JJ and Crump make plays and let Parker just do what he does--dependable, few errors, but not a guy who gets his own shots much.

The assumption by the village seems to be that JP will be gone "when he graduates" which I don't see how that would mean the end of this year as he is only in his 3rd year.

A healthy Juwan...I'd take this lineup/roster next year all day...very balanced. If JP can't get right, he can't help us by being on the roster though....methinks Harris will take a year before he really adjusts to this level. Would love for him to come in ready to impact day 1 but he just strikes me as streaky and perhaps a little "unrefined". And, I don't see the skills in Wilridge to be an asset on the wing, personally...not now anyways. If that white kid from K-St. can play the post at 6'6 (as a freshman, right?), I don't see why Wilridge can't at least as a reserve.

2016-17:
PG: JJ (Sr) / Turtle (So)
SG: Crump (Fr) / Parker (Jr)
SF: Parker (Jr) / Geno (Sr) / Harris (Fr WILDCARD)
PF: Ogbeide (So) / Wilridge (So)
C: Maten (Jr) /Edwards (So) / Iduwe (Jr)

...maybe by SEC or tournament play, Harris is ready to start. The thought of starting two freshman wings is unsettling though--I'm sure if not JP, it would be Geno, at least initially.

Then, there's always the possibility of a transfer adding depth somewhere. On paper, to me, that looks like a tournament team...and we'd only lose JJ and Turtle could come in and take over the in '17-'18 without much drop off or losing anyone else.

So, add 1-2 more quality guys in the late 2016 period and fight like hell for some big boys in 2017: The Ikey, Okeke, and Lewis trio!? Unless something drastic changes, I don't think O'Connell is coming. Dad likes Auburn, calls us a "lower tier school", etc.

Finding a PG in 2017 should be a priority, I think, unless we think Crump can handle significant time in that role.
