Here's the dirt on pigs: They are perhaps the smartest, cleanest
domestic animals known - more so than cats and dogs, according to some experts.
But pigs don't have sweat glands, so they roll around in the mud to stay cool.
A sign of their cleverness came from experiments in the 1990s. Pigs were
trained to move a cursor on a video screen with their snouts and used the
cursor to distinguish between scribbles they knew and those they were seeing
for the first time. They learned the task as quickly as chimpanzees.

I was actually talking to an African American friend of
mine at the gym yesterday regarding the South Carolina incident. We both agreed the cop screwed up big time. We worked together as teenagers racking tobacco and he made the comment that these videos are only going to promote these young black kids to test the officers more and more. He went on about how the young african american kids have no concept of a work ethic like the two of us had 20 years ago as teenagers and most of them are looking for trouble now.
He also stated that no one will want to be a police officer due to the aggravation, the lack of decent pay, and the risk of losing your life as these incidents starts to grow.

He's right . I also think the body cams will
help the officer more than hurt . Yes they will be a few cases where it backfires and get the officer that needs to be gotten :

Agree to an extent but I'd bet my left and right nut if you increased police pay you would get not only more applicants but more quality applicants.

Cop pay isn't the issue, the problem is the kind of people who want...
to be a cop. A person has to be the kind of person that likes to tell other people what to do an feel like they have power. If pay was the issue, it would be almost impossible to get anyone to be a cop now and there is no shortage of small penis, formerly bullied, ego maniacs who want to be cops.
