As was posted earlier this week, David Miller passed away earlier this week. David was a great guy and a great golfer. He leaves behind a wife, 3 year old son, and 6 month old daughter. He also leaves behind his parents. He was 36. Noone is exactly sure what happened yet but it was a freak medical event. He went to bed Tuesday night and just didn't wake up. He wasn't drinking or anything. Please pray for his family
David was a two-time All-American at UGA and 3 time All-SEC golfer. He may have played as well as he did any year in 1999 when he redshirted. He was routinely in the top 3 at qualifying in the fall on that team which went on to win the national championship.
I've linked to a couple of articles about him below. They are dead-on. I roomed with him and a couple other guys in fall 1998 when I tried to walk-on to the golf team at UGA. He wanted to be great and he wanted everyone else to be great too.
