After Perno was fired in 2014 he apparently was unable to find another job in college baseball, which eventually led him to take the football HC job at Clark Central. To those who are closer to the situation than I am, why do you think he could never find another baseball coaching job? It looks like his career at UGA really tanked after the 2009 season - what factors caused that spiral? Seems to me a guy who made it to 3 CWS would be sought after, at least by some of the mid-majors. I didn't follow UGA baseball as closely then as I do now, so I'm just not as familiar with the details of the Perno era.
