he is coaching at his alma mater if I am not mistaken...why would he want to come here?

Yes, please. Great offensive mind. Runs a system tailored to UGA's current talent base and that fits the SEC.

Bring his basic offensive staff, keep most our present D staff in place. know, Shaw has no experience recruiting the SEC or Georgia. There's always a work around though. Hire a couple of local boys with recruiting skills to fill in holes on the staff. Boom. A triple if not a home run.

I would take him in a heartbeat. He would be the best hire we could get. I just don't think we have a shot at getting him to come all the way across the country unless we offer him an absurd amount of money, like 7 million per year or more. He's already at his dream job.

For you and I it is, but perhaps it's not to him. I think McGarity at least needs to contact his agent and gauge if he has any interest. If not, move on.
