YOU, like many of your cohorts, need to get another "example" besides the chicken business. Your statements are simply incorrect. Gainesville, GA is the poultry capital of the US. It is home to the largest population of poultry workers in the US. Yes, most of them are Mexican...BUT, they are ALL legal. At least the ones employed at the processing plants. You may have some illegals that find work on the farms or in side businesses support by the industry. And, you may have a handful that have fake green cards. But, the companies running the processing plants are checked almost weekly for illegals.

One other thing that might surprise you...there are many white folks working in those plants. Most of them started on the lines getting shit on like you mention.

I don't know about Gainesville, but I know about Alabama. The plants struggled and lobbied hard along with agriculture and construction to stop enforcing the strict laws passed around 2009.
