BRADENTON, Fla. --- The Georgia men’s golf team maintained its 3-shot lead as the Bulldogs completed the third round of the NCAA Championships on Monday morningat Concession Golf Club.

Georgia held the 3-shot cushion Sunday when play was halted and ultimately stopped due to lightning in the area. Nine teams, including the Bulldogs, had to complete the third round at 7 a.m. Monday.

The top 15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team moved on to the fourth round, which will begin later Monday morning. After today’s loop, the individual national champion will be crowned and the top eight squads will advance to Tuesday’s match play. Georgia currently holds an 11-shot cushion over the eighth-place team.

Senior Mookie DeMoss and freshman Zach Healy paced the Bulldogs in the third round with 2-under 70s. Sophomore Greyson Sigg signed for an even-par 72, followed by junior Lee McCoy at 2-over 74. Junior Sepp Straka had the Bulldogs’ non-counting score of 6-over 78.

Healy will enter the fourth round in third individually at 4-under 212, three shots in back of SMU’s Bryson Dechambeau. DeMoss is 10th at 1-under 215, while Straka is at 6-over 222, McCoy is at 8-over 224 and Sigg is at 9-over 225.
