DawgsOnTour dominate in the 2024 Major Championships. Talk about elite!

Much has already been written about Russell Henley's fantastic run at The Open Championship at Troon with his 66-69 over the weekend giving him a fifth-place finish. That comes on the heels of his T7 last month at The US Open at Pinehurst and now has him at #12 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and #13 in the FedEx Cup standings. That we have been hearing and seeing this week. But what about the rest of the DawgsOnTour? How did they do this year in the four Majors? (Masters, PGA, US Open, Open Championship). In a word? Phenomenal! Nine different Dawgs competed in 28 Majors in 2024 (Kisner will be back!) and they made an astounding 23 of those 28 cuts (including 15 for 15 in the US Open and Open Championship!). How does that compare to the other "elite" golf colleges? Oklahoma State had 12 entries, Texas had 11, Alabama had 9, and Arizona State had 9. The top 3 of those had 21 made cuts COMBINED while out Dawgs had 23 made cuts! Dominant indeed!

It's a regular occurrence for our guys to comprise between 10-15% of the weekend cut at regular PGA Tour stops, but they did that in BOTH the US Open and Open Championships this year. Now we head to the playoffs next month and again over 10% of the players will be DawgsOnTour!
