We told you coming into the weekend Georgia is in a position to close with Joseph Jonah-Ajonye. That process is ongoing. It's not a certainty by any means, but I wouldn't be shocked to see JJA on the commit list during or shortly after his visit this weekend.
A more interesting development is occurring with Nnamdi Ogboko.
We mentioned him as a name to watch when he announced earlier this week he would be officially visiting this weekend. After the Michai Boireau fervor came and went, Ogboko stepped into the spotlight as a priority target at that 0-tech spot.
Georgia is making a major move in Ogboko's recruitment this weekend. Despite only offering in April, the Bulldogs have sold their development in a record amount of time. The recent North Carolina pedigree of Jordan Davis and Jamaal Jarrett certainly isn't hurting either.
The Bulldogs appear like they might be Ogboko's team to beat at this point. We'll see if they continue to close the deal with both targets through the weekend, but I like where UGA stands with both at this point.
