If you feel that Crean’s Comments were harsh and out of line, you are an easily offended person.
Have we really become so ingrained by the PC social media club that true honesty hurts us that bad, and from an athletic coach at that. Shocked! Shocked I tell you!!
Crean has given all the players a chance- they are not falling in line with what he wants, at some point you go to other avenues of motivation when you can’t say the same damn thing over and over and they still don’t do it.
He also took responsibility.. and I love this quote from some - “good thought but shouldn’t be said in a press conference” “ you shouldn’t throw the players under the bus”
Hogwash! Of course you do and should when they fail to conform.
People are so used to being forced to cow tow to the helicopter parent mentality at all levels of education we now think it is a normal modus operandi ....doesn’t mean that is what should be done.....if you accept this mentality you are part of the problem..
