Was flipping channels and there was a panel discussing what happened and why. One "democratic strategist" said something to the effect of "we have to realize there's a segment of the country that's willing to accept a certain level of racism. It's not a democratic problem or anything that a campaign can address. We have deep-seeded problems in the country that have to be addressed"
Stunning. His response is basically, it's not us or what we did, it's that there are too many racist Americans who went for Trump. Hopefully he has tremendous influence on the DNC so they can keep running the same kind of campaign in the future, and get the same results!
I think one of the Dem's problems was rhetoric. And they kept ratcheting up the insults and labeling. And most of it was totally baseless. The Nazi reference just because of his event at MSG; claiming he would use the military against civilians, saying he would abandon the constitution, on and on. And they repeatedly tried to label Trump as a racist, but I've never heard any facts or even anecdotes to support that. But they kept throwing out more and more vitriol, and I think everyone except the die-hard libs, just tuned it all out.
