You think DeSantis wants the resources for a natural disaster. He's fooled you again. Ft. Lauderdale has record rains and the streets are flooded with the airport closed and the Mayor is looking for help from the Governor. He couldn't even respond timely because he was off in another state working on his unannounced campaign (the only reason he won't run is to save face and wait four years, but I'm sure he'll say he owes to Florida to finish his term).

The attack on Disney was well deserved, Disney should keep their politics out of entertainment for children. Of course, your political beliefs should be kept out as well, and so should mine. Last time I checked DisneyWorld isn't a public venue. If you don't like their values, you don't have to go. Changes in the law regarding Disney, etc. might have been appropriate, but DeSantis' personal attack was not deserved. It's just the dictator in him trying to control everything. We need more than 400 state guard when a hurricane hits it usually impacts multiple communities at the same time. Reread the Gen passage and note the Lord is referring specifically to Abraham via the first person pronoun “you.” Allegorically, the “Israel” referenced are the people or 12 tribes v a physical geographic location in Palestine.
