We did shoot FTs poorly, 62.2%. and could have won if a few more are made. But the Mocs' coach was probably telling his team, if they shoot FTs better, 64.5%, they avoid OT.
Overall if we look at the shots missed in this game, it highlights the other 2 stats that contributed mostly to this loss. The 15 ORebs for the Mocs, and 21 TOs for the Dawgs.
Total shots missed(FG + FT): UGA 22+17= 39. Mocs 39+11= 50
Bottom line: We gave the Mocs too many scoring opps, with the 2nd chance ORebs, and diminished our scoring opps with TOs.

FT% of returnees = 68.5% (same as last year's)
FT% of freshmen = 40.0% (1st college game yips, I hope)
