promoting Universal Healthcare??

“First state to achieve universal access to healthcare coverage. The California Blueprint will provide a full expansion of Medi-Cal access to all eligible Californians regardless of immigration status, including an estimated 764,000 undocumented immigrants.”

Wonder how that is working out for California, fiscally speaking etc:

California is losing tax payers hand over fist.

She has already stated she wants everyone on Medicare. Then she walked it back.

Collegiate polls and many other polls showing Kamala slowly falling behind as of today. The concern over VP picks doesn't seem to be a big issue with most potential voters, the big 3 issues remain Immigration, the economy, and Foreign Policy.
I'm starting to believe that the Harris/Walz campaign hit it's peak this week.

Looking forward to the downward slide IMHO.

Harris wants to have Universal Healthcare coupled with Population Reduction. Anyone else see a problem here?

Think about the impact on something like public health. When we invest in clean energy, and electric vehicles, and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water.

California has been trying to pass that bill for several years. The $65 billon budget deficit kept it from serious consideration this year. They got that down to $56 billion over the next 2 years by cutting spending programs, but the universal healthcare program they want would cost over $500 billion.

Just 2 years ago the state had a surplus of $75 billion. That's when the universal healthcare proposal caught on.

it's an important issue, if this is what she wants.....I want to hear her talk more about how it will benefit everyone in detail, mostly who pays and how much. If it's taxed, is it protected like SS (haha), how will the hospitals Dr's and staff handle the new influx of people coming in, quality of care etc.

Don't want to go from a good situation to a worse. More concerned about me and family first than everyone else.

But guessing she will dodge the details as long as she can.
