the Cleveland Browns (2008), Jacksonville Jaguars (2009-2012), and Chicago Bears (2013-2014) in addition to being the Tide's DB coach.

Looks like Jaguar years were good; Bear years awful.

Course, a lot goes into a DC being successful; like, players and what the O leaves you on the field.

Seems like a good hire if Kirby brings him. Obviously, the guy likes to be a DC.

Yea I like the hire good recruiter the Bears he was there for smiths final years realy underrated dc. Considering the aging talent he had to work with in Chicago. Browns were and still is a mess there defense was underrated.

I think Kirby is ...smart to put older hands in The coordinator roles too. Being 39 with zero HCing experience He will need some been there, done that on staff.
