Sunday morning is likely, Saban doesn't want distractions from The SECCG. Herman must have gotten word Kirby is Our guy, why else would he re-commit to Houston publically after drooling over Our open position minutes after Richt was let go ?

I'll be thrilled if Kirby comes, keeps Pruitt and hires Tyler Helton from Western Kentucky as his OC. That would give Us fantastic coordinators to help Kirby along.
I get that Pruitt likely won't be kept, but he should be. McGarity needs to slap some extra shoe polish on his hair and get over himself if his manhood feels threatened by a strong willed DC.

I don't know what he did, but I suspect he knew that Richt was on shaky ground and made the wrong kind of move for the HC job. Disloyalty is not a good character quality. I'll find out this week what it was.

I heard it is a two fold issue if Kirby is the coach. One, Pruitt wants autonomy unless he is with Saban...and he knows he won't get that with Kirby being defensively minded. Two, Kirby and he supposedly didn't have the best relationship with Pruitt. The rumors we started hearing were echoed by FSU and Bama fans when he was there. Now, that may get all swept under the rug depending on what occurs.
