was a little pissed at Durham in 79-80. I realize unc's roster was ridiculous at that time, but I wonder what it would have looked like had nique or James banks gone there. Listened to James on the radio this morning, and it got me thinking about that. I am not sure who took their scholarships. I would bet they weren't scrubs, but that roster with those two added to it would have been a bigger joke than it already was. Pretty sure unc may have won more than one title during that time.
I am sure Dean's head hit the pillow just fine. Just wanted to change up the discussion a little. I knew Hugh could recruit, but he went head to head a few times with the big boys and won. I was nine listening to games on the radio back then. There was one position on the front porch I could pick up the broadcast. I realized that if I leaned something metal against the antenna, the game would come in clearer. So I sat on the porch with a wire hanger touching the antenna at all times.
