thing about basketball. Long season and one game doesn't kill you. Sure it will probably be a bad loss at seasons end but unless you are last years Kentucky team, you always have a bad loss. Too many mistakes and too many missed free throws. I swear it's not a UGA basketball game without Kenny fouling a three point shooter. Too many dumb mistakes like that cost us. We could not stay out of foul trouble and it hurt our rotations. Very poor defense. JJ was too small to guard his man and geno was too slow to guard his man. They killed us defensively. And Derek hurting his shoulder really hurt us today. Yante played great but there is a big drop off right now with Kessler and Edwards. Edwards is big and athelitic but today he was a defensive liability. Disappointing considering how many free throws we missed but got to put this one behind us and move on to Murray state who if is anything like last years team we better come ready to play or they will run us out of our own gym.
