Do we win the Florida game with Lambert at QB or make it respectable? I like Bauta,

but in fairness to him, being thrown into a major rivalry game with no real playing time is beyond stupid and not good for his psyche. I have no issue staying with Bauta now, as we have to get someone some playing time now for next season even with Eason coming in. I am guessing Ramsey is gone after the season.

Quarterback carousels make drops go way up and we saw it against Florida as bad as I have ever seen. That and Reggie Davis just does not have it.

I have had enough of the PRO Set crap, give me a plug and play offensive system and an athletic QB in College. We are not a farm team for QBs and tired of the huge drop off we face with changing QBs.

Never thought I would say it as I am defensive minded, but I think Art Briles would be the man to get it done here, especially when/if Baylor gets left out again. The offense is a thing of beauty and we can hire a top DC.

Guess we'll never know that answer..agree with your assessment of the pro style...it's not like UGA is the pipeline of NFL QB's..

Amazing that OST, ND, Okl, TAM, etc...go from QB to QB without missing a beat..

Change is difficult when a guy has been here for so long...we all get attached to the system..used to the way everything is run...but dangit...watch us come out and totally blow teams away now, play wide ass open, take chances...etc..I kind of doubt it bc it's not the MR way..
...kind of like the "Jeff Blauser" rule... he was in the last yr of his contract...and went ballistic in numbers and got a fat resign...then went in the tank...

I don't blame BAuta at all. He had 2 dropped TD passes. His forte has always been the Wild Dawg. They ran it one play, made huge yardage, only to be called back because of penalty. Our OL let him down. Was he perfect? No. None of them ever were. But he sure never seemed to be rattled about anything. We need that.

Bauta might not have been rattled, but he wasn't confident either. He was passive looking and really never looked good.

I have to point out many on here cheered when it came out he would start against UF.

Offense is a train wreck, Schotty has to go.

He looked more confident than Lambert to me is all I'm saying.
