Am I the only one that thinks that Republicans and Democrats are secretly acting like they hate each other while in the background cutting deals with each to increase their power. Is it just me?

ago there were actually a few Democrats who were conservative and pro military. Today basically zero. Totally different views on multiple issues including immigration, healthcare and energy and environmental policies.

2013 was the first decrease in government spending since WW2. It wasn't just a cut in the increase. It was a cut in spending. The Tea Party forced it, and Mitch McConnell outwitted the President by backing Him in a corner and getting Him to sign it.
PREZZY won't sign another one. He got outwitted. You realize He has to sign the spending bills, right? And you realize the PUBS don't have the votes to override a veto, right?
Btw....go back and compare debt to GDP, and spending to GDP ratios when DEMs controlled Congress vs when PUBs did. The difference is night and day. Complete opposite. Get informed. Comparing debt to GDP is the most meaningful measure, because it measures how much debt and spending we can actually afford. All government spending is sucked out of GDP.
Btw...government spending leveled off once PUBs retook the House in the 2010 election.
