FMCS recorded its director as being on a years-long business trip to D.C. so he could have all of his meals and living expenses covered by taxpayers, simply for showing up to the office.

Any private sector employee would be fired for lying about being reimbursed for travel but not in the federal government. Damn, just damn.

It is sad, because there are hard working people who got caught up in this too. It has caused a lot of pain out there because this had to be done. For exactly what you listed above. Way too much of this kind of thing happening. It is almost like we just need a damn reset. This was allowed to go on for way too long. It isn’t like Biden and Obama haven’t been on camera a while back saying the same things Trump was running on. The same things doge continues to find. He is the one doing it so he and musk are the devil. I do believe it could have been planned a little better, but what is being uncovered in the long run has been way more important. This is still just the beginning too

These are just law firms bilking the public. I have a buddy in corporate law, he is general counsel for a large Ag company. They currently have two separate parts of the gov suing them for the opposite thing. One is suing them for not merging in a specific time period, the problem is the other agency sued them for trying to merge and put an injunction on the merger. They assign people like this FMCS to monitor them for years while the lawsuits are happening and bill the gov for thousands of hours. They received one of the lawsuits at 2am on inauguration day.
