Saw where Schayes died a couple of days ago. Some of you may remember him as one of the first "big" guys who played a lot of the time facing the basket. He finished his playing time with the Sycruse NBA team. I think he retired in the mid 60's after about 16 seasons - all with the same team. Not many games were on tv back then, but I remember him and his two handed set shot from about 25 ft. His was a little different in that he had the ball about level with his forehead when he shot it and had his right leg sticking out. Looked a little strange but it worked for him. I tried doing it, but it never worked for me
