in your area, but they are horrible around here.

We’ve had them before, but nothing like this. It feels like every last one of them decided they wanted to invade my yard. The noise is deafening.

Mowed my grass the other day and they were louder than my mower…..all I could hear was the buzzing noise they make, unbearable. My ears were ringing and still ringing 30 minutes later after going back inside.

When I mowed near a tree, hundreds would swarm around me. They would land in my hair, on my back or just anywhere else on my body. If I didn’t know any better, I would think that they were being territorial.

They are evil looking SOB, felt like I was in an Alfred Hitchcock movie and being attacked. Will be glad when the little bastids die off.

Think of spending most of their life underground, then morphing into a flying insect and have to get it right first time flying. Amazing

My parents live in Warner Robins and they were bad there. My mom thought neighbors pool motor was making loud noises (and she’s pretty deaf) and she told her no it’s the cicadas. Cicada shells all over yard. It was crazy how loud they were!

I was in Milledgeville 3 weeks ago and it sounded like an alien invasion…or what it might sound like. It’s about over now.
