Simple. You can't in good conscious follow the law then resign. And if she refuses, change the system and do what you must to get her out of office. I know the socialists have pretty much taken over but jailing the gal because of her beliefs is criminal, even if you are a radical leftist. Just get her out of office and change the system in the short term.

She's not being jailed because of her beliefs. She's being jailed for not following the law. The judge actually gave her an option, an accommodation for her and she refused. He wanted her to allow the clerks in her office to sign the licenses, once 4 of the 5 said they had no problem doing so. She refused, would not give her authorization for them to sign off the licenses.
She made her choice. So off to jail. Didn't do her any good. They're signing them after all without her consent. It was fixed by the judge to bypass her, so she wouldn't have to do anything she didn't believe in. That was reasonable. She was not, imo.
She made her choice when she became a committed Christian. And the judge knows that. As do you. So she has merely reaffirmed her decision. I don't share her view but I respect her right to hold it and so should you. But that's not the way the radical left views things. Agree with us or lose your rights. And now lose your freedom. If she can't uphold the law she should step aside, not be jailed for being a committed Christian. If she were not that she wouldn't be in jail tonight. Sad, sad America at times.
I don't see the judge having a better option. She's an elected official so the court doesn't have the power to remove her from office.
Her actions have ZERO to do with Christianity ....she's perverted to gospel to serve her own hatred and pain

Good judging in this case would have been giving the person in front of you a sensible way to comply without forcing her to make a decision that flies in the face of a principal that is maybe as strong and dear as life to her. He knew what she would do so he choose, as again you are thrilled about, to force her to go to jail for her beliefs. Being ghey is not a choice, it's a condition of birth so it is wrong to treat a gay person differently. But marriage is for man and woman as it is meant to provide for and protect the children produced. No ghey act produces children. This lady has accepted Christianity which holds marriage dearly. As marriage is central to procreating children and protecting and nurturing them. It's not a social event or badge as you shallow little metrosexuals would like to interpret it as. It is maybe the key to civilization. So she is not going to change, therefore she needs removing from the situation since it is the law. But that probably would have meant he would have to do some actual work to arrive at a workable outcome. So he took the easy way out.

I don't give a rats azz about legal immigration to this country as that is how most our ancestors got here. And helping the poor is what is best about my family. Giving a hand up and yeah a hand out to the elderly and truly disabled. If it were up to you lefties they would starve. You guys talk the talk but are slow on the hip. Either because you can't help or won't. Either way thank goodness for conservatives as they do volunteer and help. Although I don't like many conservatives either.
