while it's true that they've played a very light schedule, they'll still managed to score double digit runs in 7 of the 11 games that they have played. They're 7-4 on the year. They did have a scheduled midweek game with Alabama that was rained out earlier, as was another midweek game with South Alabama. Those would have been their most legitimate competition, by far, but still, they have been good at the plate this season.
They have three players hitting .400 or better. As a team, they're hitting .315/.452/.462 ... They have made 25 errors on the season too.
It's a game that we should win, don't get me wrong... I was surprised by their offensive numbers, though, and I think it'll be good for our pitching staff.
