The SEC revenue payout to its 14 member schools is jumping.

The SEC cold cash totaled $309.6 millions for 2014, yielding $22.1 millions for each of the 14 members.

2015 includes money from the new SEC Network and each share will be $22.9 millions. In 2016 it will be about $34.5 millions.

UGA may have enough loot to rid itself of the Doo-Doo ice plague visited upon Sanford by Stevie Superior during his visit in 1995 when Spurr-Dog ran up the score 52-17. :(

UGA should have enough money to have world-class concessions. It is getting harder to compete with TV. The AA in Athens and everywhere else needs to be on the very forefront of making the in-game experience as smooth as possible. Can't tell you the number of folks who tell me they are just "going to catch it on TV." Granted the big games will almost always sell out but getting those sisters of the poor at noon to sell out is getting harder.

Yet, the money keeps rolling in from the Disney Dawgs who keep hoping against all hope that Mark Richt is going to learn how to win big. If it ain't happened by now, it's not going to happen. Last year woke me up about Mark Richt, I've lost all faith in him to win it all. He doesn't have it in him. He's too nice a guy.

Welcome to high paid mediocrity!
