There’s been a lot of articles recently on how the consulting companies will get hit the hardest from the government cutbacks. Bring it on.I’m telling you there is nothing like being a private company contractually attached to a government. Any government. You make the highest wages, and the company collects about a 2.4 to 2,7 multiplier.
Joint ventures. They don’t go under their own names. A big international or national company partners with a smaller local firm. Every airport has them. They do the work that the govt can’t do.Where does one get these government contracts? They sound awesome

They do sound good. But I worked for a big firm and we ran out of work. I went to one of the experienced guy and asked him how long we’d be sitting around. He said, well last was about 14 months. I said, 14 months! I revisited all the jobsites, I logon, I read all the papers, I didn’t tell him about dawgvent), I said at this rate I’ll unlearn everything I learned. If the government is reading this I’m willing to do that for only 1 billion dollars.
You seem to be misunderstanding my dream scenario which is where I’m paid 1 billion dollars by Uncle Sam to disconnect gas stoves. Killing time on the job is harder than it looks. Lucky for me an old boss called and I left, and I was busy again.
