Two things changed. In 2020 Trump was explicitly telling his voters not to vote early. And since that election states have put restrictions on early voting.

it’s going to be hard to compare absentee voting and early voting to 2020. However you feel about it 2020 was not a normal year and had its own unique patterns because of the pandemic.

I am most curious to see elderly voting this time around. During a pandemic, they set records for percentage of votes cast. Will be curious to see if the same thing happens this time around. Or if that part of the Democrat ground game was closed up under the wild, Wild West rules of the 2020 election.

The entire 2020 vote was only 158 million... I saw 79 million have voted thus far in 2024.

I found it was 101 million early votes for 2020 but that wasn't exactly a normal year.
