so what if he only starts 2 years...what's the use of him starting 3 if the first year is a rebuilding year (see: Stafford freshman year...sorry, Eason is no better than Stafford was)....
If Lambert (or Ramsey for that matter) bring stability to the position and keeps us in the position to contend for the conference, you keep them there...you do what's best for the team. True freshmen are rarely, if ever what's best for the team. Especially when you will have experience here already.
I'd rather have 2 strong years from Eason and continue the streak of contending teams than sacrifice a year to a true frosh.
