Our lack of recruiting elite players on DL has caught up to us. We are just not good there. Hopefully we have talent coming.
On top of the fact arguably our best defensive player, 13, had 1 tackle last night, 1 tackle. He’s looking more and more like a 1-2 game wonder and doesn’t have the motor, motivation or physicality to get it done.
Worst DB performances ever under Smart, Williams not getting it done as a coach and his rotations are pitiful. I love Dan but a walk on is out playing “5 stars” whatever rankings mean which is not much anymore.
The win is what we were after and we got it, unexplainably, but it’s the name of the game.
