My wife runs the Bistro at a local Marriott Courtyard here in Greenville. Whenever someone is from Georgia, she asks if they are a Dawgs fan. Well last night, she met a man who said, 'Well yes I am.' She then showed him a pic of our dog Chubb and he said, let me show you a pic. Then he showed a pic of his son in uniform and explained he's a redshirt long snapper and asked how Michele came to be a fan. She told him I graduated at UGA. He said he graduated from UGA too. They continued talking and she thought, since he's a big guy, she'd ask if he ever played football. Only then did he let her know he played d-line in 1994 for the Dawgs. Something impressed me when she told me this story that Paul Snellings, when meeting up with a Dawg fan, showed a picture of his son and didn't talk about himself or mention he'd played with Kirby until she asked him directly.
