I do not know who at rivals rates these kids but I just watched video of the offensive lineman Landon Dickerson, if he is not a 5 star player you guys need to hire someone else to evaluate the these kids. I was at your camp last summer at Marrist, you guys get way to caught up in one on one in shorts and isolated drills that mean nothing when evaluating a kids ability to play in games at full speed. This kid can is mean but under control and can run with ease. He plays full speed with a little recklessness, gets off the ball fast and under control. He takes good angles and delivers the contact, what else do you need to see in an offense lineman.

I am in a hurry sorry about any typos, have more to say about other recruits and ratings.

I see talent there, but it looks like he's playing against 8th graders. It must be a very low level of competition judging by how small most of the guys are he's blocking on video.
Also because he just bowls over physically overmatched players it's impossible to evaluate the finer points of his game from video.
He has risen dramatically in ratings though, maybe because he isn't playing at a level that usually gets a lot of attention. I will say this, I don't want our guys to go back to maul ball. The pancake block is extremely overrated. It's best to seal the defensive players to create lanes, which is what We're doing now.

Mr. Dickerson, I'm sure that if your son continues to perform well, he will have his choice of several scholarship offers. If he's a junior, you should have him on the camp circuit this summer - if he's a senior, you should know better given your expertise in amateur athlete evaluations.

Funny

First of all he is six five 300 pounds most of his competition is smaller ( he is not a big fat out of shape guy ), and he plays in 4a which is competitive. So what is your opinion of Ben Cleveland and Jacob Eason, both have fallen for unexplained reasons other than they did not show up for all of rivals camps. But in the big picture I would rather they be rated 4 star and come in with a chip on there shoulder with something to prove. My point is Georgia needs offensive linemen and he looks the part.

It looks like you were correct!

Oh if anybody who calls themselves stonecold killer has a reply, my first thought is when did prisoners get access to computers and the internet. SCARRRRY!

Ben Cleveland was rated too high early on, likely mostly based on size and his ridiculously impressive athletic build.
He has all the potential in the world but he plays very stiff at this point.
Eason hasn't fallen enough to even mention. Patterson just had a good summer at camps and many moved him slightly ahead of JE. Eason has made a big improvement over the summer. His release is MUCH quicker now.

As for Dickerson, I'd love to land the kid, I was just posting what might keep him from being rated higher. As for you preferring they be ranked 4 stars so they'll be motivated. I really don't think it matters one way or the other. If a kid has the right makeup, he'll be motivated.

You really should be more careful when opening your mouth...you're getting vinegar and water everywhere...

Are you for real or this a joke, surely you are not this dumb.

Judging from your stellar commentary, I'd say you don't really qualify intellectually to have a valid opinion. That said, if you want to try me tough guy, go right ahead. Douche.

you could be right only time will tell, just my thoughts on what my eyes tell me. By the way at the Marrist camp Ben did noit look to stiff as a matter of fact no one wanted any part of him - they all tried to run around him including the kid at uga now. But thanks for your response.

I'm for real and any good evaluator of OLs can easily see Ben plays too stiff in the legs and at the waist. If you can't see it, you might want to take a closer look at his video.

Sure, but I'm reasonably sure of why Ben dropped in the rankings. We won't know if bending straight over at the waist is just a bad habit, stiffness that can be fixed in training, or an inherent trait till we get him in training. I'm excited to get him on campus and working with our staff.

Ben Cleveland wasn't at the camp we had at Marist.
