I observed some time ago Fox was pretty stout breaking down an opponent and developing a plan, then adjusting at halftime. But the main thing for a coach is to get a player - or three - and let him or them make plays.

Coach Martin decided to get in our face and then run us into the ground. It made sense, except we're Georgia. While we screwed up some, we responded by attacking with strong play - making 20 of 27 free throws and getting 34 points in the paint and then running them right back on the other end - an 11-2 fast break advantage.

Then, instead of our tongues hanging out in the final minutes as planned, JJ - in his 39th minute of play - runs circles around the SC pressure for the tie and then coolly - as an assassin - played the South Carolina star of the game away from his strong hand and into the help, collected the ball, accepted the foul, and made the free throw, which was a mere formality - great coaching.

Really, our guys love a street fight. Martin wants to turn the game into a street fight when we got Mann, Gaines and JJ - not to mention a couple of white boys that are tired of gettin' dissed along with some mean big dudes? Shoulda brought a gun.
